Hickory Mountain Loop Trail

At A Glance

1.06 mi one-way

Difficulty Rating: 1.06
Steepness: Climbs Moderately
Tread Condition: Some Obstacles

This trail was rebuilt in the spring of 2014 by Elevated Trail Design. It was built with mountain biking in mind, and technical features abound. Climbs past an open meadow through some switchbacks before winding around atop Hickory Mountain a bit, and crossing the summit. There are a couple of rocky spots and a wet dip or two, but it's pretty smooth overall. Mostly flow trail. There is a good photo gallery of the trail & construction on the trailbuilder's portfolio page.
