Yours truly cruising down the Fletcher Creek trail, as it travels through some interesting fields on its way downstream. The Forest Service has been known to grow corn in these open areas. What is now a singletrack trail follows the route of the old Fletcher Fields Road, which is still shown on USGS maps of the area.
