Much of the Pink Beds trail travels through thick stands of Mountain Laurel. Near the end of the trail the ground is carpeted with ferns. This stretch of trail is typical for the Pink Beds Loop - smooth and relatively level. There are a few hills and technical areas to spice up the ride, however.
