Flat Laurel Creek as it begins to drop out of the high elevation plateau and drop into the West Fork Pigeon River valley below. Behind where I was standing is the first of MANY cascades along this drop. This little pool makes a GREAT swimming hole - cold, clear water, a waterfall pouring into it and a great view!
