Edwin Allen said: Trail has great views not many water sources so fill up when you can best for winter hike when leaves have fallen to best enjoy the views trails poorly marked and not hiked much alot of trails coming up from private properties that can be confusing and the trail that's clear does not match the national forest service map drops you off on road 90 to early and doesn't seem to connect with its self great long day hike if you just give up on following the map and be content on just walking further on road 90 to connect with the upper part any day in the woods is a great day happy trails
