Description

Extremely poorly designed at NC 215 (east) end. Extremely steep. Rest of trail generally follows old roadbeds; very wet & muddy in places. Provides access to the spectacular Courthouse Falls, which is well worth the few hundred foot side hike down to the base.

Note: the portion of this trail from NC 215 to the Courthouse Falls spur has been slated for closure, and the remainder will be called Courthouse Falls trail. None of it will be open to bikes :(
