This is your complete guide to individual trails in the Coleman Boundary area.

Bear Pen

More Difficult, 1.4mi, Climbs Steeply, Moderately Rough

Blaze Color: Orange
USGS Map Number: 176
Rough trail makes a fun, rocky and muddy downhill connection between the Laurel Gap trail (grassy road) and FR 74. Huge jumps near bottom. A little overgrown with weeds, seldom used. Watch for stinging nettle as it hangs over the trail - if it brushes up against your legs, you'll be itchin' by the time you get to the bottom. Creek crossings. Part of the Douglas Falls and Coleman Boundary Grand Tour best rides.

Laurel Gap

Moderate, 7mi, Few Hills, Few Obstacles

USGS Map Number: 184
A long, grassy old road, running just below the parkway. Intersects four other trails for loop options. High elevation, dense northern hardwoods and patches of spruce-fir forest. Rolling hills and nothing technical. Part of the Douglas Falls and Coleman Boundary Grand Tour best rides when combined with the Bear Pen trail.

Little Andy

Staire Creek

More Difficult, 1.1mi, Climbs Steeply, Some Obstacles

Blaze Color: Orange
USGS Map Number: 183
Recommend to only ride this downhill--the entire trail is extremely steep! A great, technical downhill through beautiful woods. Uphill this would be one long push. Muddy, rooty. Lower portion follows the rugged, picturesque creek and levels out some, but becomes extremely rocky. Several huge rock caves are along the trail - at one point the rushing water can be heard in stereo as it bounces off a rock face. Part of the Staire Creek and Coleman Boundary Grand Tour best rides.

Upper Corner Rock Creek

Moderate, 1mi, Climbs Moderately, Some Obstacles

From FR 74, this trail descends a little over 1000' to cross Walker Creek and terminate. It's muddy after rains and it's rocky, and it gets quite steep and technical in places. Very scenic forest.
